Drop several photographs at once, or pick them together. One file works too. Nothing is uploaded; the archive is built in this tab.
Drop a folder's worth of photographs. One recipe — ground, canvas, light, shadow, outline source and file — is applied to every one, each edge is read off its own photograph, each saved file is measured, and the lot comes back as a ZIP with the receipts in it.
What this mode does
This route opens on the folder surface. Everything you would decide for one photograph is decided once for the folder: what it is for, the ground or transparency, the canvas and placement, the light match and shadow, where the outline comes from, and the file format, kilobyte window and density.
What a folder cannot share is read off each photograph: the feather from its own edge, the colour its old background left in the outline, and whether it is a portrait cut by its frame that should be seated. Files are worked one at a time in a background worker so a forty-photo run never holds more than one full-size picture.
Steps
- Drop the photographsPick several files at once or drop them together. A preflight line states the count, the megabytes, the megapixels and roughly how long the run will take.
- Set the recipePick the form or the ground, the canvas, the shadow, the outline source and the file. A model asks for its download once, for the whole run.
- Run, and watch the rowsEach row reports its size, its edge, its spill and its receipt as it finishes. Stop keeps what is done.
- Fix any row, then download'Fix in the editor' opens one photograph with the brushes; 'Return it to the folder' replaces that row. The ZIP holds every file and receipts.csv.
Each photograph's own size, or one canvas
For a staff page or a product feed, one canvas — a listing square, a profile square — makes the set consistent. Portraits cut by their lower edge are seated on the canvas so no shoulders float.
For a form, the rule decides: choosing it sets its pixel size, kilobyte window and density for every file. Placing each face against crown and chin guides still needs a look per photograph, which is what the editor button is for.
What it cannot do
- The run uses one worker, one file at a time; a large folder with the any-subject model on a processor takes minutes, and the preflight says so.
- A blurred own background and a photograph backdrop are not offered across a folder: they are judgements made against one picture.
- Files are offered as a ZIP. Saving straight into a folder on your computer is not available in this version.
Questions about batch background changer
How many photos can I do at once?
There is no fixed limit. Files are processed one after another, so memory stays at about one photograph's worth; the time grows with the count and the outline source, and the preflight line estimates it.
Can every photo be made to a form's size and KB limit?
Yes. Choose the instruction and its confirmed pixel size, kilobyte window and density apply to every file; the receipt on each row says whether that file landed inside the window.
What is in the receipts CSV?
One row per photograph: the file written, its size and bytes, where the outline came from, the feather used, the spill colour, how many receipt lines passed and failed, and every line's reading.
One photo came out wrong. Do I have to redo the batch?
No. Press 'Fix in the editor' on that row, correct it with the brushes or a model, and press 'Return it to the folder'. Only that row changes.
Are my photos uploaded to process them?
No. Every file is decoded, composited and encoded in this tab, and the ZIP is built in the tab.

The image you open is read by this page and by nothing else — there is no server behind this domain that could receive it, the outline is worked out inside your own browser either by arithmetic or by an on-device model, and if you ask for a model it is the model that is downloaded to you rather than your photo being sent to it.
